Food Stamps: Clients can apply for food stamps by calling Tri-Cap at 320-251-1612 or 1-888-765-5597.

Second Harvest Heartland offers free monthly supplemental USDA commodity food packages to income-eligible women with children six months to  five years old, and seniors 60 years and older.  Qualified participants receive these monthly food packages at a designated distribution site. The United Way (1-800-543-7709) for additional food resources and community services offered in your area.

Home delivered meals are available to those unable to prepare their own meals due to illness or disability.  There is a nominal charge for the delivered meal.  To apply for this service call the Assumption HDM Coordinator, 320-685-3693

Meals on Wheels: Meals on Wheels is a nationwide program that provides older Americans nutritious meals and safety checks at little to no cost. The meals can be delivered to your home if you meet eligibility requirements, or you can go to a congregate nutrition site for socialization and food. If you struggle with isolation and meal prep, then Meals on Wheels could provide ease and companionship.
